Fisk University), bookstores and for music
industry organizations (including keynote
speaker at California Lawyers for the Arts
Music Business conference). The tour was
sponsored by National Car Rental, industry
organizations, Billboard Books and many hotels

- Daylle will
moderate a panel based on her new music book
at CMJ Music Marathon on September 17th and do
a workshop at New England Musicians Expo on
September 18th.
- Daylle will
give a book talk and signing for I Donąt
Need a Record Deal! at Borders Books and
Music at Columbus Circle in NYC on August 18th
at 7 PM. Four indie artists from the book
Lorraine Ferro, David Ippolito (That Guitar
Man from Central Park), Cari Cole and Little
Egypt will perform.
- Daylle was
recently flown to Norway to participate in
By:Larm, the biggest music industry conference
in Scandinavia. She addressed a large audience
of women with suggestions and motivation for
advancing in the very male dominated music
industry in European markets. She also spoke
on a different day to attendees about how to
start their own record label. Afterwards, she
was interviewed for 4 articles in Norwegian
newspapers.
- Daylle’s
book I Don’t Need a Record Deal! Your
Survival Guide for the Indie Music Revolution,
will be published by Billboard Books in Spring
2005.
- The
new edition of How to Please a Woman In
& Out of Bed will be out in May 2005.
- Daylle
is now working on a book called Nice Girls
on Top.

Own Record Label sold over 12,000 copies in
the first 9 months.

Farsi by a woman for distribution in Iran. The
